Our story began in 2018 with a simple idea—we were determined to create a better way to serve fajitas. We thought, "There has got to be an easier way to enjoy fajitas together!"
By 2022, we created a patented concept that evolved into a mission-driven company: Totem. What started as a stackable fajita tray has grown into a full-fledged tableware brand committed to transforming mealtime into a ritual of connection.
Launching a new product has been no small feat, but we’re passionate about delivering the best to food enthusiasts. While we initially planned to launch the Totem Axis in the summer of 2024, we chose to invest additional time in refining the design with our manufacturing partners in China. Every material, every detail, and every color was carefully selected to ensure the Totem Axis would exceed expectations. Upon our launch, customers will be able to choose from an oak brown color or a simple black, and as time develops, we will seek alternative coloring options to fit every setting.

My name is Jordan Stuart, and I’m the founder and CEO of Totem Serveware. I started this journey with a dream to reshape the dining industry. I grew up in southeast Michigan with a strong family life, then ventured to Colorado after high school, where I spent my days climbing mountains, biking trails, and fulfilling my pursuit of adventure. That same passion fuels Totem’s mission: to inspire people to slow down, savor life, and build meaningful connections around the table.
As a 20-year-old entrepreneur balancing college classes and a growing business, I’ve poured my heart into this project. The Totem Axis is more than a product—it reflects our values, purpose, and commitment to enhancing mealtime for families, chefs, and food enthusiasts everywhere.
